Students and visitors of all kinds are welcomed
at each and every senate meeting. Come see what the senate is
all about at our next meeting. The senate meets every Tuesday
at 6:00 pm in Room 1864 (Driscoll North, 2nd floor). Senate elections
are held every year in the Spring. Officers are elected for the
various schools, classes, and living locations.

University of Denver All Undergraduate Student Association Senate
Organization Breakdown
The AUSA Senate hears student concerns, passes legistation concerning
student and student organizations, and serves as an elected liaison
between the students and the faculty.
Organization structure:
Executive Board
President and Vice President are elected.
Chair of Marketing, Chair of Records and Chair of Finance are
appointed by President and Vice President and are voted into office
by majority Senate vote.
Chair of Programming is the president of the University of Denver
Programs Board.
President Pro-Tempore is a senate elected senator.

How the organization is funded: Automatic funding each school
year from a percentage of student activities fees, can apply itself
for Excess Funds funding and through the Board of Contingency
(both Senate run funding board processes)

student organization activities.
